  1. ~5:15pm — taxi to The Rocks Restaurant & Bar for sunset drinks over the water. live-music nights unconfirmed
  2. ~8pm — if you want a crowd, Margaritaville Ocho Rios: Wednesday is their pool-party night, walk-in, the easiest room in Ocho Rios to start a conversation.
  3. Home by taxi. Use JUTA-plated taxis (the licensed tourist standard) and book the ride back before you settle in.

Changing and drying off: the $25 entry includes changing rooms, showers, lockers, plus life jackets and water shoes. Wear swim shorts under your clothes, lock your phone and wallet in a locker, rinse off in the shower, and change into the dry set for the ride back. Bring a towel from the inn — towels aren't listed as included — and a bag for the wet things.

If you get restless in the afternoon

White River Calypso Rafting & Tubing is ~10 min from the inn — a slow float, easy to add on the day. Nine Mile — Bob Marley's birthplace & mausoleum only if Bob Marley genuinely matters to you: up to 1.5 h each way, heavy hustling — official purple gate only. Green Grotto Caves dropped: a 45-min tour that turns a morning into a full driving day.
